The 37th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology is organized the AMS Board on Broadcast Meteorology and sponsored by the American Meteorological Society. This conference will be in Portland, OR 29 June-2 July, 2009.

ACCOMMODATIONS
All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the Doubletree Hotel-Lloyd Center, 1000 N.E. Multnomah, Portland, Oregon, 97232. A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at a special rate of:

To receive these special rates, attendees must request a room under the 37th Conference on Broadcast Meteorology room block between Friday, 5 September, 2008 and 28 May, 2009. Federal per diem rates are available, upon request, to Federal employees when making reservations. Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Reservations must be made prior to 28 May, 2009 and may be accompanied by a one-night deposit. Reservations made after that date are on a space available basis. Subject to room availability, these special rates will be available the weekends before and after the conference. We urge you to make reservations early since space is limited.

REGISTRATION
On-site Registration
The AMS registration desk at the Grand Hyatt will be open for registration on Sunday, 29 June from 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Monday-Thursday during the hours of the conference. Registration will be closed for the field trip.
GETTING THERE
From Portland International Airport (10 miles):
Enterprise is the official rental car agency for this meeting and special rates are available. Advance

2. Turn left toward NE Airport Way 0.2 mi
3. Slight right toward NE Airport Way (signs for I-205/Freeway/NE 82nd) 0.1 mi

5. Merge onto I-205 S/Veterans Memorial Hwy via the ramp to I-84/Portland/Salem 3.1 mi
6. Take exit 21B to merge onto I-84 W/US-30 W toward Portland 4.6 mi
7. Take exit 1 for Lloyd Center 0.3 mi
8. Turn right at NE 13th Ave 0.1 mi
9. Turn left at NE Multnomah St 0.1 mi
