Weird(er) Weather and a Changing Climate: Piecing Together the Puzzle
Tuesday, 25 June 2013
The nexus between weather anomalies and a warming climate will be the focus
of a day-long, Tuesday, 25 June AMS "Short Course," a follow-up to a highly
regarded short course on climate change conducted as part of the Portland,
Oregon, broadcast meteorologists meeting in 2009. Managed by independent
journalist
and educator Bud Ward, editor of The Yale Forum on Climate Change, tuitions
will be just $25 for up to 50 AMS short course registrants through a grant
from program sponsor Climate Central of Princeton, N.J.
Registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until 14
June OR until the course capacity (50) has been reached. A faculty of
climate/weather "household names" is being assembled to lead the session. More Information
