The Tenth Symposium on Fire and Forest Meteorology, sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Agricultural and Forest Meteorology, will be held 15-17 October 2013 at the Holiday Inn University Plaza, Bowling Green, KY.

ACCOMMODATIONS
 Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at the Holiday Inn University Plaza, Bowling Green, KY, 1021 Wilkinson Trace, Bowling Green, KY 42103.
We urge to book your hotel room at the Holiday Inn University Plaza as revenue from sleeping rooms helps offset other meeting costs and is passed down to attendees in keeping registration rates to a minimum.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at the special rate of (currently) $99.00 single/double plus tax and $129 plus tax for Standard Suites. Rates do not include applicable state and local taxes, currently 13.42%.

These special rates will be available the three days before and after the conference based on availability. We urge you to make reservations early since space is limited. Reservations made after 16 September, 2013 are on a space available basis and the group rate is not guaranteed.
Government Per Diem Rate: A limited number of guestrooms will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis at the prevailing federal government per diem (Government ID must be presented at check-in). Guests who would like to book a room at the per diem rate should contact the hotel direct at (270) 745-0088 and ask for the Groups Room Coordinator, Elizabeth Myers, at extension 1032.

All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration may be completed online, via fax-in form, or on-site. Links will be available in the left-hand panel of this page. Registration rates will be posted and opened in early July 2013 12:00-1:30pm.
