Registration
All attendees must register to attend the conference. Registration may be completed on-line, via fax-in form, or on-site. Links are available in the left-hand panel of this page. Registration rates are also noted in the General Information PDF.
 Accommodations
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at The Marriott Hotel, 50 Kingsmill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at a special rate of $89.00 single/double plus tax. Government per diem rates are also available to those who qualify ($75* for Williamsburg in Fiscal Year 09. *This rate will be updated when the new rate is established.) To receive the special meeting rate, attendees must request a room under the AMS block.

Colonial Williamsburg Area: Wednesday, 7 October
Discounted group tickets ($25) will be available for those who’d like to take the Wednesday afternoon off to explore the Colonial Williamsburg museum area. This excursion is not included in registration. Tickets will be available in advance with registration or on-site at the registration desk until 12:00pm Tuesday, 6 October. Internet Accessibility
Vaisala Inc. will be sponsoring e-mail stations for attendee use throughout the week. The Marriott Hotel offers complimentary wireless internet access in public space. Internet access in sleeping rooms is currently $10.00 per 24-hour period.
Flying to Williamsburg
Three airports service the Williamsburg, VA area. The Newport News Airport (PHF) is approx. 15 miles E, the Richmond, VA Airport (RIC) is approx. 50 miles W, and the Norfolk, VA Airport (ORF) is approx. 45 miles W.
Ground Transportation 
From the Newport News Airport, taxi is the fastest and cheapest way to get to the hotel. Expect a fare of ~$30. For all other airports, transportation by rental car would most likely be needed. Driving directions can be found on the hotel web-page: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/travel/

Self-parking at the Marriott Hotel is complimentary; however a car is optional. The hotel is in close proximity to a variety of restaurants. A group outing is tentatively being planned so everyone will have the opportunity to explore and dine within Colonial Williamsburg.
