24th Conference on Severe Local Storms
27–31 October 2008
The 24th Conference on Severe Local Storms is sponsored by the American Meteorological Society and organized by the AMS Committee on Severe Local Storms. The conference will be held 27-31 October 2008 at The Hilton DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, GA.
Abstract Deadline: Friday, 27 June
Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. All meeting sessions for the conferences will be held at The Hilton DeSoto Hotel, 15 East Liberty Street, Savannah, GA 31401. A block of rooms have been reserved at the hotel for meeting attendees at a special rate of $145 single/double plus tax. Government per diem rates ($104 for Savannah) are also available to those who qualify.

The Hilton DeSoto is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and the lively downtown waterfront area.
