Live Shots from the AMS Broadcast Conference

Dear AMS Broadcast Conference Attendee,

The American Meteorological Society and Busch Gardens Williamsburg are coordinating the opportunity for you to broadcast back to your home market from the AMS 31st Conference on Broadcast Meteorology in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. This is a great way for you to tell the folks back home what you're doing in the Williamsburg area, talk about the exciting sessions at the conference, and interview the many experts attending this year's meeting.

Live shots will take place at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Tuesday, June 25 between 4:30 - 9:30 p.m. and at Water Country USA on Wednesday, June 26 between 5 and 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time to accommodate late afternoon and evening newscasts in most time zones. We will be booking 15-minute windows throughout the 4-hour period on a first come, first served basis.

Busch Gardens has graciously offered to handle all the logistics, scheduling a local camera crew and truck, and satellite time at no cost to AMS attendees.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a European-themed park, nestled along the banks of the James River, features more than 45 thrilling rides and attractions, including the world's top-rated roller coasters, eight main stage shows, authentic European foods and shopping. The park has received countless awards for its landscape, cleanliness and all-around thrill factor. The adventure park has been recognized by the National Amusement Park Historical Association as the world's "Favorite Theme Park," and for 10 consecutive years the world's "Most Beautiful Theme Park."
