awareness of the atmospheric sciences among the local community.  AMS does not charge an entry fee.
WeatherFest includes science demonstrations and exhibits. The event is publicized in the print media and on
local television. Sponsorship funds will be used to provide general support for the development of the event,
production of collateral materials, teacher support equipment and advertising. In addition, you may sponsor
travel support for the teachers who will be conducting hands-on science demonstrations. POST-AWARDS BANQUET RECEPTION Exclusive sponsorship $4,000 This event honors the recent recipients of awards presented at the AMS Awards Banquet. Attendees include
past presidents of the AMS and special guests.  Funds will be used to cover the cost of dessert and bever-
ages for the approximately 200 people that will attend. This is an opportunity to increase your visibility to the
leadership of the Society and special guests. –3–
